Overview
The apparel industry experienced dramatic changes in working patterns and operational practices during and after the pandemic, with emerging digital technologies also playing a part.
But new ESG, circular economy and smart Manufacturing / supply chain trends, driven by climate change and popular demands for greater sustainability, are also enabling organisations to respond more effectively to modern challenges.
Building on the highly successful 2018 International Conference on the Apparel Industry that focused on productivity improvement, disruptive innovation and leadership, the second conference will be held in 2025 and will be sponsored by InterAct.
The 2018 event was strongly supported by industry, governments and various industry associations. Six years ago, the apparel industry was seen to have huge growth potential through innovation, digitalisation and automation.
But new challenges have now emerged – that are also opportunities for global apparel supply chains – requiring a coordinated and effective response.
The 2025 conference will focus on ESG relating to all parts of the apparel value chain as well as to governments, NGOs, investors, academics, and logistics and supply chain solution providers.
